His sketches have sharp edges of character and inner life that his colored works don't. Also, I must note that his rough sketches for 'Hunchback' are one of the best I've seen. I've been known to take the covers and post them on a wall in my apartment for months at a time. And I totally agree with Peter. It's always easier to create something when somebody is waiting on it. I can write six short stories a semester for school, but unless I have an assignment I can find it hard to be motivated.
