Bonnie said:
This was easy for me because I was recommended to an agent by a friend that I had met over the internet.
It only sounds easy because Bonnie's manuscript was probably wonderful and ready to sell. Even with a referral from a star author, agents won't take on a new author if there isn't anything to sell.

Since I am a middle sister writing a book about a middle sister, THE MIDDLE SISTER sounds like a must-read.

I loved TMS! Kung Fu was the first real television show I got to watch as a kid, and to have that little bit in the novel (and it was just a little bit compared to the whole) was a brilliant touch, made it really sparkle for me.

I love everything about this interview, and the part where Bonnie forgot her address made me laugh out loud.

And Susan, your intro paragraphs are perfection. I want to send them to every writer I know.

Bonnie's book, btw, brought me to my knees. It's moving in every possible way. I hope everyone reading this buys a copy: The Middle Sister
